Detailed Preparation Steps
Step 1: Gather Ingredients
A little oil/ghee (optional, for softness)
Wheat flour (as needed for the number of rotis)
1–2 tablespoons of Dr. Daily Nutrition Mix
A pinch of salt (optional)
Water for kneading
Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
Add wheat flour to a large bowl.
Sprinkle in the Nutrition Mix and gently combine so the mix spreads evenly throughout the flour.
(Optional) Add a pinch of salt for taste.
Step 3: Knead the Dough
Start adding water little by little.
Begin mixing with your fingers until the flour starts forming a dough.
Knead well for 3–4 minutes until the dough becomes soft and smooth.
If the dough feels dry, add a few more drops of water.
Step 4: Rest the Dough
Cover the dough with a cloth or lid.
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes — this helps the rotis become softer.
Step 5: Roll the Rotis
Take a small ball of dough and dust it lightly with flour.
Use a rolling pin to flatten it into a thin, even circle.
Step 6: Cook on Tawa
Heat a tawa on medium flame.
Place the rolled roti on the tawa and cook until small bubbles appear.
Flip it, cook the other side, then press gently for it to puff.
(Optional) Apply a little ghee for extra softness and flavor.
Step 7: Serve
Enjoy the hot, soft Protein Rotis with sabji, dal, curd, or chutney.
